  • Assists in keeping muscles of the upper extremity more fresh throughout a season
  • Helps eliminate bone bruises and/or fractures of the hand
  • Helps eliminate stinging sensations during inclement weather and when the ball is hit near the hands or off the end of the bat.
  • Improved physiological and psychological advantages
  • And many more...

The origins of Syndigrip

Larry Hisle, Jr. had a very successful junior year at the University of Dayton, hitting .400 with 9 home runs and 47 RBI in 46 games. Doing all of this after being the starting shooting guard and playing a full season for the UD Flyers basketball team. Deciding to concentrate fully on baseball for the first time in his life, Larry received a full baseball scholarship from UD and prepared both mentally and physically for next year.

After a strong fall camp, Larry was excited for his senior year of college baseball to start in the spring. As usual, the spring season in Ohio was very cold and hitting with either a wood or aluminum bat can be a painful experience. Before leaving on the spring trip to play games in Florida, Larry felt some discomfort in the hamate bone area of his left hand whenever he gripped or swung the bat. The discomfort continued to increase once the games started and after returning home from the spring trip, the pain was immense. He even dropped the bat at home plate on a check swing. Trying to play through the pain was taking it's toll on Larry and it was impossible to be as effective at the plate as he was his junior year. Since there is nothing that can be done to alleviate the pain besides taking time off and/or having the hamate bone removed, Larry did the best he could. Although he finished the season as an All-Great Midwest Conference player, Larry knew he was capable of doing much more had he not injured his hamate bone.

After playing a few years of minor league baseball and talking with his father about making a product that was ergonomically designed for the ultimate grip, could increase a hitter's bat speed, improve bat control, help to maintain hand alignment and reduce the possibility of the bat slipping from hands, reducing tension on the hands, wrists, elbows and shoulder musculature, help eliminate stinging sensations during inclement weather when the ball is hit near the hands or off the end of the bat and to help eliminate bone bruises and/or fractures of the hand...they formed The Hit Syndicate and the 'Patent Pending' Syndigrip was born!

Years of research and development have brought The Hit Syndicate to a point where they've been asked to manufacture Syndigrip for little league, high school, college and Major League Baseball players!

Syndigrip can be used on both aluminum and wood bats and is cleared in the rule books for use in Little League all the way up to Major League Baseball.

The most important part of a baseball bat is the handle. If you don't have control of the handle, the barrel is meaningless. Syndigrip will give you an ergonomically designed grip providing you with ultimate control, among numerous other features. The confidence provided when using Syndigrip will give any batter physiological as well as psychological advantages when hitting.
